The Client & Category

Our client pioneered automated golf performance tracking, using grip-embedded sensors for real-time shot monitoring. Fast Company ranked them the third most innovative sports company globally, and they have been featured in Bloomberg, Golf Digest, Forbes, WSJ, and others.

They wanted to leverage AI to tackle challenges in golf by replacing human caddies with AI-powered caddies. We worked with them to develop the world’s first fully automated golf caddy, which delivers real-time analytical insights to help golfers improve their performance.

The Outcome

With 15M rounds played and 743M shots taken on courses, 86% of our client’s handicap has decreased by 3.8

The Solution

We employed over 60 machine learning models, analyzing golfer profiles, history, and course conditions, and integrated 1.1T data points, including shot history, location, wind, weather, elevation changes, hole geometry, and hazard locations, to assist golfers in improving their game.
Our team also developed cutting-edge image and sound recognition algorithms to ensure unparalleled accuracy and data-dense insights and recommendations. These innovations significantly improved shot detection accuracy, AI range field, and strokes gained insights, enhancing the overall performance of our users.
