With over 700 suppliers across 127 countries, our client wanted to improve their delivery system by automating it. The manual process hindered carrier communication, leading to shipment delays and poor customer experience. They needed a more efficient way to manage overdue shipments and improve operations.
The Solution
We developed a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solution to efficiently manage overdue shipments across multiple carriers to speed up our client’s tracking system.
The system enables seamless integration with the core platform using APIs, ensuring automated data exchange and workflow optimization. It captures overdue shipment details, including pickup and tracking information, from emails, eliminating delays. The system fetches Proof of Delivery (POD) documents from carriers through email portals, minimizing delays. Utilizing Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology adds another layer of intelligent automation, ensuring the authenticity and accuracy of POD documents.
