Our client is one of the world’s largest automotive manufacturers, with a North American field quality organization responsible for spotting safety and performance issues before they become recalls.

Their quality data was scattered across more than a dozen internal systems, with no single view connecting them: regulatory complaints, warranty claims, technical reports, customer call transcripts, sentiment and feedback data, and field survey results all lived in separate silos. Engineers manually combined these signals by hand to spot emerging issues, a process that slowed insight delivery and made early detection harder than it needed to be. Strict internal governance requirements added a further constraint, limiting how outside data sources could be brought in at all.

The Solution

We designed and built a unified quality data and intelligence hub that gives every signal a home in one governed environment, replacing more than a dozen disconnected systems with a single, consistent view of vehicle quality data.

Regulatory complaints and public sentiment are now ingested automatically and continuously, removing manual research from the process entirely. A secure gateway gives analysts controlled, whitelisted access to the manufacturer’s internal data, meeting strict enterprise security standards without slowing anyone down. Before a single dashboard was built, we ran a full gap analysis to align outside regulatory and consumer signals with internal engineering metrics, so the platform was designed around what the quality team actually needed to see.

The Outcome

The unified platform cut insight delivery time by 80%, shrinking research and reporting cycles from roughly eight months to eight weeks. The manufacturer’s quality team now works from one consolidated dashboard spanning warranty claims, technical reports, customer call transcripts, sentiment and feedback data, field survey results, corrosion databases, and regulatory complaints. Automated regional tracking surfaces emerging corrosion and rust patterns across the U.S. early enough to act before they escalate toward a recall, and the platform has cleared the manufacturer’s own Cyber Risk Assessment, running on secure, ISO-aligned data flow throughout.
